Theranostic care
See what you treat. Treat what you see.
A theranostic agent binds to a targeted biomarker, letting clinicians identify disease at the molecular level — then a therapeutic dose of the same or a related agent destroys the diseased cells, sparing the healthy tissue that conventional chemotherapy cannot avoid.
- Diagnose. A targeting molecule carries a diagnostic isotope to the tumour.
- Image. PET imaging confirms the target is present and maps it.
- Treat. The same molecule delivers a therapeutic isotope to that target.

Bangladesh expansion
Building Bangladesh's national theranostics capability
Bangladeshi patients spend an estimated US$5 billion a year on cancer care abroad. MED I is positioned to help close that gap with a national theranostics and isotope-production hub.
